When installing the carburetor, it is necessary to ensure the seal between the carburetor and the engine connecting flange to avoid air leakage, which will cause the engine to be difficult to start, no idling or unstable idling.

1. When the motorcycle engine is started, the choke valve should be closed, and the accelerator (lifting plunger) should be slightly opened. After the car is warmed up, the choke valve should be opened before it can enter the normal working state.

2. Carburetor idle speed adjustment: The idle speed mixing ratio screw has been finely adjusted when the carburetor leaves the factory. Generally, when it is used for the first time, the user does not need to make any adjustments to avoid unnecessary failures. The user only needs to adjust the plunger stop screw.

3. Idle speed adjustment method after carburetor cleaning and maintenance: 3.1 Before cleaning the carburetor, the user should mark the original position of the carburetor idle speed mixing ratio screw, and then screw the screw inward to the bottom, And remember the number of turns screwed in, so that after cleaning the idle speed passage, the position of the idle speed screw can be restored to its correct position. 3.2 After cleaning the passage, adjust the idle air-fuel ratio screw to the original position according to the original marked position.

4. Seasonal adjustment of carburetor idle speed: According to the difference in the performance of motorcycle engines and seasonal changes, the idle air-fuel ratio screw can be adjusted appropriately. The variation is in the range of 1/2 turn, as shown in the following table.
